Part One: Initial Consultation
This family came to us when they decided to upgrade their kitchen space. Their budget was limited, so a full remodel was out of the question.
We presented them the option of a quick kitchen refresh…
New tops, backsplash, sink and faucet for only $15,000…
They loved the idea, and they wanted to move forward with the upgrade.
On our initial consultation, we looked at what needed to change…

This old, granite-looking tile backsplash was old, and because it had a porous surface, it was stained and very difficult to clean.

Part Two: The Planning
Because the main idea of a kitchen refresh is to decrease its cost and turnaround time, it does not come with a design, unless you specifically ask for a design. Because these are less intrusive jobs, we don’t need to pull permits, making the turnaround for a kitchen refresh even quicker.
Part Three: Ready For Installation
Besides the awesome price, kitchen refreshes are also very fast.
Realistically, we can do them within 5 days, unless there are some challenges along the way (like rot damage or adjusting cabinets).
So, after we chose the right tile and top materials and colors, we picked them up, and we were ready to begin installation.
28th Feb
We prepped the kitchen with cardboard on the floor so we don’t damage anything, and we demoed the old backsplash and countertop in around 6 hours.
29th Feb
We had to adjust the cabinets for the new tops, and we installed them in a single day.
1-5 Mar
Installing the tile backsplash took us around 3 days, and then another day to install the faucet and the new dishwasher.

Deckorators Composite - Venture Series Sandbar
We installed 120 sq. ft. of composite decking, perfect for our clients to enjoy a low-maintenance deck. It’s durable, resistant to water or UV damage, and you can walk on barefoot because it stays cold and splinter-free.
Westbury Aluminum Railing
We installed all straight and stair aluminum railing up to the highest standards in the industry. There were 40 linear feet of straight railing and 4 linear feet of stairs railing, all in Westbury C-10 metal railing with lifetime warranty.
KDHT Lumber Framing
We had to use 192 sq. ft. of framing material. For both ledger board and framing, we used 2’x10′ lumber 12″ on-center. This is the most cost-efficient framing material, and our go-to for all deck building projects.
